The Sunshine North (Zone 4) occurrence is located at an elevation of approximately 1520 metres on a west-facing slope, east of Guichon Creek and approximately 3.1 kilometres northwest of Eve Lake.
The area is underlain by intermediate volcaniclastic and flow rocks of the Upper Triassic Nicola Group, which are intruded by the Upper Triassic to Lower Jurassic Guichon Creek Batholith several kilometres to the east and west.
Locally, a quartz-matrix–supported breccia zone, similar to the nearby Sunshine (Zone 3; MINFILE 092ISE129) occurrence, has been identified in subcrop and float. A limestone unit is reported close to the breccia zone.
In 2013, eight rock samples (23224 through 23226 and RP-5a through RP-5e) yielded values from 0.5 to 3.5 grams per tonne silver, 0.024 to 0.999 per cent lead and 0.093 to 0.629 per cent zinc (Assessment Report 34441).

The area has been explored in conjunction with the main Sunshine (Zone 3; MINFILE 092ISE129) occurrence and a completed property exploration history can be found there.
In 1957, B.C. Base Metals completed a 66.0 line-kilometre ground electromagnetic survey on the area as the Al claims.
