The CAYOOSH-CONDOR placer occurrences are on Cayoosh Creek approximately 3 and 6 kilometres upstream of its confluence with Seton River, 5 to 8 kilometres west-southwest of Lillooet, B.C. Placer workings are downstream of past producing mines Ample and Golden Cache and the Ample-Goldmax exploration area (Minfile 92JNE209).

Gold placer deposits on the lower reaches of Cayoosh Creek were discovered in 1886, but for the period 1889 to 1906 there was no production record even though there was activity each year (EMPR BULL 28).

In 1990, the two placer claims were worked by J.P. Larue. The gold on Enterprise Bench, approximately 200 metres upstream of Enterprise Bridge occurs in at least two well-defined paystreaks. The approximately 1.2 metre thick upper layer is iron-stained and characterized by large cobbles and small boulders up to 0.5 metres in size. Approximately 3 metres below this, the lower paystreak of unknown thickness occurs below a clay layer and also hosts platinum.

The second placer claim worked in 1990, known as Big Bench is approximately 3 kilometres upstream of Enterprise Bench. Four test pits returned gold flakes up to 0.6 centimetres in size. Total returns were in the order of 9 grams.
