The Bruce (Dominic) occurrence is located approximately 1 kilometre north of the east end of Dominic Lake.

The area is underlain by Upper Triassic Nicola Group volcanic rocks consisting mainly of andesitic volcanic flows and fragments intruded by a Triassic composite diorite-monzonite intrusion (Durand Lake stock). The intrusion is widely mineralized with chalcopyrite and occurs with variable amounts of magnetite and pyrite. Low- grade disseminated chalcopyrite and bornite are associated with weak chlorite and epidote alteration in a monzonite core of the Durand Lake stock.

Locally, scattered occurrences of disseminated chalcopyrite and/or molybdenite occur in dioritic rocks that intrude Upper Triassic Nicola Group volcanics. Percussion drilling in 1990 intersected magnetite-rich diorite of a probable extension of the Triassic composite diorite-monzonite 'Durand Lake stock'. The diorite is pyritic (from 1 to 3 per cent) and exhibits propylitic alteration (minor epidote and chlorite) but with significant carbonate content. The diorite also hosts zones of thin quartz-pyrite veins or stockworks with minor chalcopyrite associated with potassium feldspar and sericite alteration.

In 1970, a percussion drill hole (70-14) is reported to have yielded 0.1 per cent copper over 45.7 metres (Assessment Report 35439).

In 1979, a percussion drill hole (DH79-14), located a short distance south east, yielded up to 0.018 per cent molybdenum (Assessment Report 7436).

In 1988, a rock sample (10565) assayed 0.24 gram per tonne gold and 0.22 per cent copper (Assessment Report 17550).

In 1990, percussion drilling yielded up to 0.012 per cent molybdenite over 45.5 metres in hole P90-7, including values of up to 0.026 per cent molybdenite and 0.026 per cent copper over 3.0 metres, whereas hole P90-6 yielded up to 0.054 per cent copper over 3 metres (Assessment Report 20649)

In 1960, work began on the DRG claims by Kennco Explorations (Western) Limited and consisted of geological mapping, soil sampling and ground induced polarization, magnetometer and self-potential surveys. During 1965 through 1967, Noranda Exploration completed programs of geological mapping, soil sampling and minor trenching on the area as the G.B. claims. Cominco Ltd. staked the original Rag claims in 1969 to cover the northern and western part of an aeromagnetic anomaly associated with a Triassic composite diorite-monzonite intrusion (Durand Lake stock). Extensive geological and geophysical programs, conducted during 1969 through 1972, outlined disseminated sulphide zones (5 to 8 per cent pyrite) along the west-southwest and east-northeast flanks of the intrusion. These peripheral areas have been covered by induced polarization and magnetic surveys and a limited amount of percussion drilling. In 1970, induced polarization and ground magnetometer surveys and line cutting totalling 29 line -kilometres were run over the Rag group of claims on behalf of Cominco Ltd. In 1971, a soil geochemical survey (271 samples) was completed by Tro-Buttle Exploration Limited. In 1972, line cutting and an induced polarization survey totalling 26 line- kilometres was completed over the Rag claim group on behalf of Cominco Ltd. In 1976, on behalf of J.R. Kerr, geological mapping and line cutting were conducted on the Happy Days claim. During 1978 through 1980, Cominco Ltd. conducted induced polarization surveys (40.5 kilometres), a ground magnetometer survey (50 kilometres), line cutting and 32 percussion drill holes, totalling 2478 metres, on the Happy Days claims. In 1981, Cominco Ltd. submitted results from one diamond drill hole, totalling 346 metres, which was drilled as part of a larger drilling program on the Happy Days claims; Cominco returned the claims to Keda Reources (now K.D. Resources Inc.). In 1988, Cominco Ltd. conducted soil sampling (619 samples) over the Rag claims. Also, in 1988 Teck completed a program of soil and rock sampling and ground geophysical surveys on the area as the GS claims. In 1989, Teck Corporation entered into a joint venture agreement with Cominco Ltd. covering Teck and Cominco-owned claims in the Greenstone Mountain area. During the spring and summer of 1990, Teck conducted soil sampling (500 samples), magnetometer (38 kilometres) and VLF-EM (38 kilometres) surveys over previously untested portions of the Rag claims. In 1990, on behalf of Teck Corporation, a three-hole percussion drilling program, totalling 154.5 metres, was completed on the Happy Days claims. In 1989, D.L. Cooke and R.U. Bruaset began assembling ground (Rabbit claims) in the Dominic and Durand lakes area and this continued, with some interruptions, until 1996. The Rabbit claims cover the Bruce, Rag 73 (MINFILE 092INE130) and Rag (MINFILE 092INE045) occurrences. Beginning in 1990, Bruaset and Cooke carried out systematic geological mapping and a soil geochemical survey (135 samples) directed at gold in the area of the Rag 73 and Rabbit (MINFILE 092INE147) occurrences. In 1993, a compilation map was completed based on the analysis for gold of 2900 soil samples form the Dairy to Dominic lakes area. This compilation, which covered most of the area of current Rabbit claims, suggested high gold potential. In 1995, ProAm Explorations Corporation extended the 1990 gold soil anomaly, and in the same year, the entire ProAm Rabbit group of claims was surveyed by enzyme leach selective extraction. In 1996, a program of rock and soil sampling and a 7.3 line-kilometre induced polarization survey were completed. During 1997 through 1999, ProAm Explorations Corporation completed nine trenches, totalling 40 metres, and took 80 outer bark samples for biogeochemistry testing. The trenching confirmed the presence of copper mineralization and yielded elevated gold values. Also, in 1997 ProAm conducted a diamond drilling program over the original Rag 73 occurrence and discovered the Rabbit occurrence. A total of 21 holes, totalling 3338 metres, were drilled and 1398 samples were analyzed. In 2003 and 2004, Auterra Ventures conducted program of trenching, geochemical sampling and ground geophysical surveys on the area as the Rabbit North property. In 2010, a program of rock and soil sampling and geological mapping was completed. In 2011, the area was prospected by R. Bruaset.

During 2013 through 2015, Tower Resources completed programs of rock sampling, geological mapping and airborne and ground geophysical surveys on the area as the Rabbit North property.
