The Lamb 1 showing occurs 13.5 kilometres southwest of Hedley, 12 kilometres east of the Similkameen River.
An outcrop of feldspar crystal andesite ash tuff of the Middle to Upper Cretaceous Spences Bridge Group is locally replaced with a siliceous matrix containing chalcopyrite. A rock sample contained 2.5 grams per tonne silver and 0.1488 per cent copper (Assessment Report 12427, page 4, sample L-84).
In 2010, the Lamb 1 and Roger 2 (MINFILE 092HSE173) occurrences were covered by claims held by Velocity Minerals Ltd. During that year, 19 silt samples were collected from various drainages on the claim area. Four of the samples reported anomalous gold values and three samples reported anomalous arsenic values. In 2011, the claims covering the Lamb 1 showing area were amalgamated with the Hedley Gold Project property to the north, which was then optioned to Westcan Uranium Corporation. Three 1:10,000 scale base maps of the property were produced during 2011.
