The Miss 3 occurrence is located at an elevation of approximately 1420 metres on an east-facing slope, west of Summers Creek and approximately 3.3 kilometres west of the south end of Rampart Lake.
The area along Summers Creek is underlain by the Eastern volcanic facies of the Upper Triassic Nicola Group, comprising mafic, augite and hornblende porphyritic pyroclastics and flows, and associated alkaline intrusions.
Locally, an outcrop of altered pyritic and mylonitized diorite to granodiorite hosts quartz±carbonate vein(s), up to 2 metres wide, with hematite, pyrite, chalcopyrite, sphalerite and galena. The vein(s) strike northwest and dip steeply west.
In 1991, five samples (5091 through 5093, 5850 and 12539) yielded from 0.049 to 0.525 per cent lead, 14.5 to 35.3 grams per tonne silver and 0.090 to 0.590 gram per tonne gold (Assessment Report 22084).
