The Vale showing is 300 metres west of Spukunne Creek and 4.5 kilometres north-northwest of the creek's confluence with Hayes Creek.

Regionally, the area is underlain by granitic intrusive rocks of the Middle Jurassic Osprey Lake batholith.

Locally, silicic, potassic and sericite-altered, coarse-grained red granites are cut by masses of glassy quartz containing scattered grains of pyrite and chalcopyrite. Limonite and malachite also accompany this mineralization.

In 1991, a sample (V91-R3) analysed 0.001 gram per tonne gold, 0.4 gram per tonne silver, 0.093 per cent copper, 0.0288 per cent lead and 0.016 per cent zinc (Assessment Report 21920, page 9, Table 2).

Work History

In 1991, Kingsvale Resources Ltd. completed a program of prospecting and geochemical (rock and soil) sampling on the area as the Vale 1-14 claims.

During 2012 through 2015, Colorado Resources Ltd. completed programs of geological mapping, geochemical (rock and soil) sampling and a 6.0 line-kilometre induced polarization survey on the area as the Hit-Aspen Grove property.
