The Henning Creek showing occurs on the west bank of Lawless (Bear) Creek , 200 metres north-northeast of the mouth of Henning Creek and 10.5 kilometres northwest of the town of Tulameen.
Two trenches in Upper Triassic Nicola Group volcanics expose two quartz-carbonate veins striking northwest and slightly east of north. The veins are mineralized with small amounts of chalcopyrite and galena.
In 2016, a rock sample (R508) from an outcrop hosting quartz-carbonate veins with clots, veins and disseminated pyrite, located along Lawless Creek approximately 1 kilometre north of the Henning Creek occurrence, yielded 0.217 gram per tonne gold; a float sample (R501) with quartz-carbonate veining, taken from Lawless Creek a short distance south of the occurrence, yielded 0.322 gram per tonne gold (Assessment Report 36939).
