Stratified clay deposits, probably related to the Puyallup Inter- glacial deposits, occur at the heads of the bays along the south shores of Sechelt penninsula, extending from Gibsons Landing to Sechelt to Welcome Point. The clay in most of these deposits is somewhat sandy, yellowish to bluish grey in colour and in most places contains fairly abundant pebbles.
