Capsule Geology

Stratified clay deposits, probably related to the Puyallup Interglacial deposits, occur at the heads of the bays on the Thorman- by Islands. They clay in these deposits is sandy and yellowish to bluish in colour. In most places it contains fairly abundant peb- bles.
