The Blue Granit covers several large bluffs overlooking Stave Lake. Access is by logging roads from Mission via Hatzic Prairie and up the east side of Stave Lake. The property is underlain by the Jurrasic Mt. Robie Reid Plug of the Coast Plutonic Complex. A large roof pendant of undefined Mesozoic metamorphic rocks trends northeast away from the north side of the property. Rock at the showing is massive quartz diorite that has spalled off abundant, very large boulders. In detail the rock is coarse grained, grey-white with a greenish hue and massive. Rock was sampled in 1996 and the claims were allowed to lapse in 1997. There is no record of further work.
