The Moly (Andy 14) occurrence is located on an east- facing slope overlooking the northern end of Howe Sound and the Squamish River mouth, at an elevation of approximately 520 metres.
The area is underlain by granodiorite of the Cenozoic-Mesozoic Coast Plutonic Complex. Pliocene to recent Garibaldi Group dacitic volcanic rocks occur nearby.
Locally, disseminated molybdenite occurs in fractures in granodiorite of the Coast Plutonic Complex at three separate showings. In an adit, chalcopyrite and minor molybdenite were found. Just to the east of these showings, copper and molybdenum sulphides occur in sheared and fractured granodiorite (Andy 14 showing). Another oxidized zone containing copper and molybdenum is reported on the western boundary of the Andy 23 claim, to the north.
In 1972, Conshell Resources completed a program of rock sampling, geological mapping and a 28.8 line-kilometre airborne geophysical survey.
