At the Nahmint Mountain occurrence, a flat lying mass of lime- stone of the Upper Triassic Vancouver Group, Quatsino Formation outcrops on an unnamed mountain over a 3300 by 2500 metre area, 5 kilometres southwest of Nahmint Mountain. The limestone is partially overlain by Lower Jurassic Bonanza Group volcanics, which forms the peak of the mountain. Basalts and andesites of the Upper Triassic Vancouver Group, Karmutsen Formation underlie the limestone.
