The 808CR06 showing is located approximately 500 metres east of the bank of Sorcerer Creek and 56 kilometres north of Revelstoke.
Locally, the area is underlain by crystalline limestone with intercalated calcareous mudstones, schist and phyllites of the Lower Cambrian Badshot Formation and Index Formation, which are both part of the Lower Paleozoic Lardeau Group. These two units are flanked by quartzites with minor schists belonging to the Upper Paleozoic to Lower Cambrian Hamil Group.
Mineralization occurs as galena and pyrite in a quartz carbonate vein within green phyllite.
In 2007, Silver Phoenix Resources Ltd. contracted River Rich Exploration Ltd. to complete a stream sediment survey and rock sampling program.
