Capsule Geology

The property is underlain by sediments and volcanics of the Eagle Bay Formation. The rocks consist of limestones and greenstones. These are overlain by argillaceous phyllites. The rocks strike northeast and dip 30 to 45 degrees northwest.

Galena, sphalerite and manganese occur at the base of the greenstones adjacent to the limestones.
