The Niali 1-5 claims are located north of Tsuis Creek on the eastern shore of Mabel Lake.
Locally, marble horizons are hosted in granitic gneiss of the Precambrian–- Paleozoic (?) Shuswap Metamorphic Complex.
The area was originally staked in the early 1990’s and minor blasting was carried out at that time to expose marble along an old logging road in the area. In 2003, the Niali claims were staked to cover a marble occurrence believed to be the northern extension of marbles exposed along Tsuius Creek to the south. In 2004, a mapping program was carried out on the property that showed the presence of extensive marble in subcrop on the property. Later, the property was explored in conjunction with the Kingfisher Quarry (MINFILE 082LNE041) as a part of the Clifton Group.
On the Niali 4 claim, marble occurs over a 200 metre width and outcrops sporadically along logging roads and in one former pit (Assessment Report 27433).
