The Inuk claims are located along the north side of Glacier Creek, approximately 16 kilometres north east of the community of Meadow Creek.

The area is underlain by quartzites and siltstones of the Upper Proterozoic to Lower Cambrian Hamill Group and Upper Proterozoic Horsethief Creek Group. A number of the bands in this suite of rocks are of interest for use in building stone and flag stone, including a white bedded quartzite and some siltstones.

Locally, quartzite rocks are moderately bedded breaking into large flags or blocks 10 to 15 centimetres thick, which are suitable for building stone, flagstones and landscaping. The stone is white to grey with no evidence of staining. This is a desirable feature for building stone.

In 2002, prospecting the area and mapping the outcrops indicated ample material to warrant the development of a small quarry (Assessment Report 26899).
