These hot springs are near the headwaters of the Halfway River, on the south bank, approximately 30 kilometres north of Nakusp. They are about 20 km, from Highway 23, up the Halfway River forest service road, on the south side of the river.
These small springs were discovered by the BC Forest Service in about 1973. The Springs occur in a rocky canyon and have a temperature of about 28 degrees Centigrade. These springs are part of the Upper Arrow Lakes area hot springs. The hot spring fluids appear to be driven by differential hydraulic pressure and heated by radiogenic heat generation.
These springs are undeveloped.
