The Agnes showing is located between the two main forks of Stephney Creek, about 16 kilometres north of Beaton.

The Agnes property contains a very big lead of concentrating ore, which assays in gold, copper and silver (Minister of Mines Annual Report 1899). Mineralization comprises galena-sphalerite-chalcopyrite veins hosted in Cambrian to Devonian Lardeau Group (Index Formation) phyllites.

In 1895-98, Consolidated Sable Creek Mining Company owned the Agnes and developed a 12-metre adit and stripped the vein in several places.
