The G20-1085 showing is located about 9 kilometres northeast of the village of Yahk and 1 kilometre north of Mt. Mahon.

In general, the region is underlain by argillite, greywacke, wacke, and conglomerate turbidites of the Helikian Aldridge Formation (Purcell Supergroup). Gabbro-diorite sills and dikes of the Proterozoic Moyie Intrusions intrude the sequence.

In 2020, Kootenay Resources collected sample G20-1085v which when analyzed ran 0.18 per cent zinc and 0.14 per cent lead (Assessment Report 39483). The sample was described as crystalline quartz vein cutting quartzite. The vein contained sericite and trace sphalerite.

WORK HISTORY

In 2020, a program of rock and soil sampling was conducted by Kootenay Resources Inc on their Moyie Anticline property utilizing both laboratory and portable XRF analytical techniques (Assessment Report 39483). During the 2020 field program more than 1420 XRF readings were taken and compiled. Several areas with anomalous lead, zinc, copper as well as gold were found during the program. The Moyie Anticline property covered parts of the 082GSW and 082FSE map areas.
