The Junction SE showing is located 38 kilometres west-southwest of Fernie, a little southwest of Hollebeke Mountain.
The showing occurs near the contact of dolomite and dolomitic siltstone of the Kitchener Formation and basaltic to andesitic flows of the Nicol Creek Formation, both formations being part of the Helikian Purcell Supergroup. A spot of chalcopyrite was located in 1995 in an area of pillowed and amygdaloidal volcanic rock.
Refer to Junction 1 (082GSE073) for work history and related geological details.
