The Vicky showing is located about 32 kilometres east-northeast of Kimberley and 27 kilometres north of Cranbrook. The Vicky area is underlain by rocks of the Helikian Aldridge Formation (Purcell Supergroup) consisting of argillite, greywacke, wacke, and conglomerate turbidites.
The Vicky showing is hosted in carbonate breccia zone with extensional quartz-pyrite veins hosted in the fault. The fault is oblique to bedding and locally parallels bedding and cuts. A sample (DT11-38) of the material assayed 0.51 grams per tonne gold (Assessment Report 32868). Adjacent samples SKPX11-205 and 206 assayed 0.49 and 2.72 grams per tonne gold, respectively. Sample TKZ17-59 assayed 1.24 grams per tonne gold and sample TKX-88, 500 metres to the north-northwest assayed 4.18 grams per tonne gold (Assessment Report 38859).
In 2011, PJX Resources Inc. conducted geological mapping, prospecting, and rock sampling, resulting in the collection of 660 rock samples including those at or near the Vicky showing. These samples were collected from seven map areas on their Dewdney Trail property called Jacleg, Lewis Creek, Trail Creek, Upper Tackle Creek, Tackle Creek, Upper Spirit Creek and M1 (Figure 1, Assessment Report 32868). All samples were assayed and plotted on map area and, except for samples MKPx 1 to 35, were briefly described and given a UTM location. In addition to rock sampling and mapping, PJX carried out trenching and diamond drilling on targeted areas of the property.
In 2019, PJX Resources Inc. conducted geological mapping and rock geochemistry sampling on the Dewdney Trail Property (Assessment Reports 38859).
