The Trail Creek NW showing is located about 34 kilometres east-northeast of Kimberley. The showing area is underlain by sedimentary rocks of the Helikian Creston Formation (Purcell Supergroup) consisting of siltstone, argillite, and quartzite.
At the showing, zones of carbonate, sericite and phyllite alteration with quartz veining occur. Some veins are up to 50 centimetres in width and contain galena and pyrite. Veins and alteration are roughly bedding parallel. One sample (SKPX11-187) collected from a 50-centimetre-wide quartz-sulphide vein graded 3.72 grams per tonne gold, 4.8 grams per tonne silver, and 0.23 per cent lead (Assessment Report 32868).
In 2011, PJX Resources Inc. conducted geological mapping, prospecting, and rock sampling, resulting in the collection of 660 rock samples. These samples were collected from seven map areas on their Dewdney Trail property called Jacleg, Lewis Creek, Trail Creek, Upper Tackle Creek, Tackle Creek, Upper Spirit Creek and M1 (Figure 1, Assessment Report 32868). All samples were assayed and plotted on the map and, except for samples MKPx 1-35, were briefly described and given a UTM location. In addition to rocks sample and mapping PJX carried out trenching and diamond drilling on targeted areas of the property.
In 2016 to 2019, PJX Resources Inc. conducted geological mapping and rock geochemistry sampling on the Dewdney Trail Property (Assessment Reports 36649, 38859).
