The Victoria Creek showing is underlain by argillite, greywacke, wacke, and conglomerate turbidites of the Mesoproterozoic Aldridge Formation, Purcell Supergroup.

In 2004, Ruby Red Resources conducted mapping and prospecting on the H.D. 1-6, S.D. 1-14 and Spirit Dream 1-4 which covered ground on the east side of Wildhorse Creek from the Boulder Creek tributary north to, and west of, Victoria Creek where the claims then cross Wildhorse Creek to cover the Spirit and Palmayra occurrences at the north end of the claim group (Assessment Report 27505). Three grab samples (as follows) were collected from the same area just northeast of the mouth of Victoria Creek. It is assumed that all samples in the report were outcrop unless otherwise stated as float.

Sample P04-110A, "a sample of quartz" with abundant pyrite box work, pyrite, and limonite, graded greater than 2 per cent molybdenum, 0.44 per cent lead and 6 grams per tonne silver (Assessment Report 27505).

Sample P04-112D, collected from a 4-centimetre-thick quartz vein with “abundant” chalcopyrite and minor pyrite, graded 0.74 per cent copper, 0.1 per cent zinc, 0.047 per cent lead, and 8 grams per tonne silver (Assessment Report 27505). The vein is hosted by a felsite dike.

Sample P04-134A, taken from dense, white ribbon quartz hosting thin wispy bands of disseminated tetrahedrite, galena, pyrite, chalcopyrite, and rare resinous yellow sphalerite, returned 0.55 per cent lead, 0.05 per cent zinc and 0.05 per cent copper and 17.8 grams per tonne silver (Assessment Report 27505). Two other sample were collected of this material with one having greater than 1 per cent lead.

In 2001, Craig Kennedy prospected the Spirit Dream Property, including the Palmayra (082GNW010) and Ford Vein (082GNW011) areas (Assessment Report 26587).

In 2011, PJX Resources Inc. conducted geological mapping, prospecting, and rock sampling, resulting in the collection of 660 rock samples. These samples were collected from seven map areas on their Dewdney Trail property called Jacleg, Lewis Creek, Trail Creek, Upper Tackle Creek, Tackle Creek, Upper Spirit Creek and M1 (Figure 1, Assessment Report 32868). All samples were assayed and plotted on map area and, except for samples MKPx 1 to 35, were briefly described and given a UTM location. In addition to rock sampling and mapping, PJX carried out trenching and diamond drilling on targeted areas of the property.

Refer to Palmayra (082GNW010) and Spirit (082GNW095) for related geological and work history.
