The Dewdney 36 showing is located about 30 kilometres east-northeast of Kimberley and about 750 metres east of Lewis Creek.
The showing area is underlain by sedimentary rock of the Helikian Aldridge Formation, Purcell Supergroup. In 2014, prospecting was carried out in the Lewis Creek area by PJX Resources Inc. who collected 45 rock samples for analysis. At the Dewdney 36 showing, a massive quartzite bed contains quartz veins with pyrite and galena. Analysis of sample DT36 resulted in grades of 0.25 per cent lead and 29.2 grams per tonne silver (Assessment Report 35582).
In 2016 to 2022, PJX Resources Inc. conducted geological mapping, rock geochemistry sampling, airborne geophysics, and drilling on the Dewdney Trail Property (Assessment Reports 36649, 38859, 40906, 40908).
