The Dewdney 34 showing is located about 30 kilometres east-northeast of Kimberley and about 750 metres east of Lewis Creek.
The showing area is underlain by sedimentary rock of the Helikian Creston Formation, Purcell Supergroup. In 2014, prospecting was carried out in the Lewis Creek area by PJX Resources Inc. who collected 45 rock samples for analysis. At the Dewdney 34, a quartz vein with iron carbonate and galena occurs in weakly carbonate/limonite-altered phyllitic, thin-bedded argillaceous sedimentary rock. Only one sample was taken at the location which resulted in an analysis grading 0.65 per cent zinc, 0.48 per cent lead, and 29.6 grams per tonne silver (Sample DT34, Assessment Report 35582).
In 2001, a sample (TC-27) was collected by National Gold Corp on their Tac property about 250 metre southeast of 2014 sample DT34. This sample was collected from a 4-centimetre-wide quartz vein with limonite, occurring in a 30-centimetre-wide zone of albitized bleached and sheared sediments and assayed 0.01 per cent molybdenum, 0.18 per cent lead and 3 grams per tonne silver (Figure 4, Assessment Report 26714). Sample TC28 was collected about 300 metres southwest of DT-34 from a 1-metre-wide quartz vein carrying iron carbonate and pyrite. This sample assayed 0.072 per cent molybdenum and 7.1 grams per tonne silver (Figure 4, Assessment Report 26714).
In 2016 to 2022, PJX Resources Inc. conducted geological mapping, rock geochemistry sampling, airborne geophysics, and drilling on the Dewdney Trail Property (Assessment Reports 36649, 38859, 40906, 40908).
