The Win chemical grade limestone property is located near the summit of Racehorse Pass, adjacent to the B.C./Alberta border. The claims were staked in 2000 by N. Tribe & Associates Ltd.
The claims are underlain by limestone and limey sediments of the Mississippian Etherington formation of the Rundle Group.
Locally, there are two limestone beds of interest. The lower one is a dark maroon brown moderately recrystallized limestone (marble). The upper one is a white oolitic limestone. The combined thickness of these two beds is greater than 100 metres.
In 2001, analyses indicate grades of 54 per cent CaO, 1.5 per cent MgO, 0.2 per cent R2O3, with 43.75 per cent LOI (Assessment Report 26618).
