The KT20-13 showing is located about 1 kilometre northeast of the village of Yahk. In general, the region is underlain by argillite, greywacke, wacke and conglomerate turbidites of the Helikian Aldridge Formation (Purcell Supergroup). Gabbro-diorite sills and dikes of the Proterozoic Moyie Intrusions intrude the sequence. Sample KT20-13, collected from an Iron-stained gabbro with crystalline quartz veining, returned 0.09 per cent copper (Assessment Report 39483).

In 2020, a program of rock and soil sampling was conducted by Kootenay Resources Inc. on their Moyie Anticline property utilizing both laboratory and portable XRF analytical techniques (Assessment Report 39483). Several areas with anomalous lead, zinc, copper as well as gold were found during the program. The Moyie Anticline property covered parts of the 082FSE and 082GSW map areas.
