The Brook property is located on the ridge between Ridgeway and McNeil creeks, south of upper Moyie River; it adjoins the McNeil property (82FSE109) to the east and the LEW property (82FSE110) to the south. The focal point of interest is a shear zone which yielded values up to 5 grams per tonne gold over 3 metres in surface trenching. Gold mineralization is known in the nearby Perry Creek area (David, 82FSE108 and Mark, 82FSE087). Geochemical silt and soil sampling failed to extend the mineralization. Hostrocks are described very generally as quartzites, siltstones and argillites of the Middle Proterozoic Middle Aldridge Formation.

Detailed mapping in 2012 outlined shear zones present across widths of some 15 to 20 metres within host rocks which are dominantly argillites (Assessment Report 33525). Alteration includes silicification and albitization with quartz veining and bright yellow clay. Chlorite and magnetite are also present. The shears trend 010 degrees with steep dips of 70 degrees. Both individual and chip samples were collected and analyzed with half of the samples anomalous in gold. The extent of the Brook vein covers several hundred metres. A Moyie Sill gabbro to the east trends parallel to the Brook vein.

Ground geophysical surveys (magnetic and VLF-EM) were carried out on small grids over the Brook showing area in 2012 (Assessment Report 33535).
