The Mount Nelson showing is located on top of Mount Nelson, about 4.5 kilometres north west of Nelson.

Regionally, the area is underlain by the Middle Jurassic Nelson Batholith. Immediately north lies an east-west trending pegmatite lens with a quartz core associated with the Crystal showing (082FNW244).

Mineralization on the property consists of MoS2 and trace pyrite in quartz veins.

In 2005, sampling and a geochemical survey was completed on the property with the best sample returning 0.14 per cent molybdenum (Property File - Schroeter, T. (2005): Notes - Mount Nelson).
