The Hot Spring occurrence is located in an area underlain by the contact of Middle Proterozoic Purcell Supergroup sediments consisting of dolomite, siltstone and wackes and Cretaceous intrusions consisting of granite, granodiorite and monzonite. The hot springs is considered the perfect temperture for bathing.
