Mineralization, consisting of fine-grained pyrite and unidentified, gold minerals, is hosted within a north-northeasterly trending zone, within a sequence of interbedded limestone and clastic units of the Triassic Brooklyn Formation. The zone is silicified and appears to be controlled by both stratigraphy and structure. The area lies approximately 150 metres west of the R. Bell (Lot. 1506) (082ESE064), past producing copper skarn mine, and approximately 150 metres south-southwest of the Cordick (Lot 625) (082ESE064) copper skarn.

Trench samples in 1996 by Kettle River Resources Ltd. yielded 9.84 grams per tonne gold over 9.14 metres and 15.84 grams per tonne gold over 4.6 metres (Personal Communication, T. Schroeter). Kettle River drilled 14 holes.
