The Trav dimension stone property is located 7 kilometres east of Gable Mountain, approximately 37.5 kilometres north east of Beaverdell. In 1995, Mammoth Geological Ltd. completed a program of prospecting and mapping on the property.

The area is underlain by the Granby Pluton of the Tertiary Coryell intrusions.

The stone of interest is described as a mauve-blue, medium- to coarse-grained syenite. Major constituents are K-feldspar, plagioclase and quartz. Minor constituents are biotite and hornblende. No sulphides are noted. The stone is massive and regularly fractured in outcrop.

In 1995, two sites along a series of natural benches, 2 to 5 metres thick, were selected as possible quarry sites were sustained block production could occur (Assessment Report 24694).
