Limestone and limey grit is intruded by diorite. Epidote-garnet skarn and chlorite-calcite skarn is associated with the limey grit. Pyrite, magnetite, and chalcopyrite occurs in the skarn and the diorite (Assessment Report 2073). A 100-metre zone of epidote, serpentine, pyrite, and lesser chalcopyrite occurs along the north side of a fault (Assessment Report 3159).
