Note: In order to view the MINFILE/pc Help file (MINFILE_pc.chm) you need to save it on a
local drive,not a networked drive. Additionally you need to do one of the following:
When you double-click on the file name in order to open it, an Open File -Security
Warning window will appear. Uncheck the box that states "Always ask before opening
this file check box"
OR
From within Internet Explorer:
Select Tools then select Internet Options
Select the Security tab
Select the Trusted Sites option (with the green check mark)
Select the Sites (gray box)
Enter http://minfile.gov.bc.ca/ into the “Add this website to the zone” field and select Add
Enter http://www.minfile.ca/ into the same field and select Add
Uncheck “Require Server verification” and select Close button

Note: If you are using MS Access 2007 to open MINFILE/pc, be sure to view the Security Warning and then
enable the macros. This is found in the title bar.
